Biography

I graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara, with a BA in Psychology and minored in music. I played professional drums since age 18. But that doesn’t mean I sounded professional. You see, my timing was sloppy. But in my thirties I was introduced to a metronome and I found that illusive “pocket” that heretofore had been missing. I also play: piano, keys, and guitar. I started writing songs in 1974. I’m a Songwriter with a catalog of 150 songs and growing. I produce, record, mix and master my own songs. I write: Pop, Country, Blues, Rock, and Gospel. My influences are; Chicago, Beatles, Eagles, Crosby and Nash, the Byrds, Steely Dan, the Allman Brothers, John Mayer, Billy Joel, James Taylor, Eric Clapton, Andre Crouch, The Archers, and 4Him.

I can also sneeze, whistle, and tap dance all at the same time. But don’t tell anyone. 

I do not perform live anymore, but you can see me perform on Youtube. I’ve been blessed with a talent for songwriting. When you hear my records, I hope you will blessed and enriched by my songs.
